ross grew up in a stable family. until his dad passed away... his new step-dad beated him and his little sister every other day. this affected him badly. he hung out with the wrong crowd and eventually came to be a member of a so called gang.
on his first gig, he needed to rob a gas station. but the pressure was to much for him. with the gun he was holding he shot around in panic, not realizing he shot his little sister. devasted, he was brought to a court hearing.
the judge eventually decided that he was mentally unstable and he got sent to, monroe hospital, a mental hospital. the he spent the following 4 years there and during that period he met a beatifull woman.
who was also housed there. roxxane was her name. they soon fell in love. she was also there for a reason, but she wouldnt dare to tell him that. when roxxane was let out, he escaped. above all odds, he made it. but it did leave him with a gnarly scar on his face.
but atlast they were free. ross made his "gang" powerfull again, with roxxane as his second lady and soon to be wife.but roxxane influenced him... he wanted everyone to join his gang, so he manipulated people who needed something and he gave that.
one example of that is maddie, a young girl who grew up in an orphanige. with no one to love, he came into her live. and so the gang grew.

caleb is also one of those manipulated victims. he grew up in a very poor trailer camp with his abusive dad ( i know original) and his siblings and mom. his mom was way younger then his dad who was 42 the mom is 30. after he became 15 he lived on the streets for a while, and then ross came in to his live.
